Croplink Grassland
The company recognises that, whilst grass is Ireland’s largest crop,
only a small portion of Irish grassland is sprayed every year.
This has resulted in a serious build up of noxious weeds, such as docks, nettle, thistle and ragworth on Irish farms. These weeds result in a significant loss in grass dry matter production, as they compete with grass for light and nutrients including applied fertilizer.
Failure to control noxious weeds is an offence under the Noxious Weeds Act. Recently, some farmers have been
penalised under their Single Farm Payment for failing to control noxious weeds.
The Croplink range of grassland weedkillers provides efficient solutions to all weed infestation problems.
